Hello World, I'm Jason! Why did I start this site?

Travel is my passion.  Unfortunately, it is not as cheap a hobby as something like playing chess.  I've never been rich and I'm not about to stop traveling.  Over the years, I've learned many ways on how to travel smarter and to identify good value.  I see too many people not experiencing the world simply because they can't afford it.  On top of that, there are plenty of people who are already traveling and not getting good value.
Expertise:  Traveling for free/cheap.
Hobbies aside from travel:  Biking, Movies, Technology.
Music:  Techno, Trance, Italo, Dance, House.

Things you NEED to know about TWiBT!
Audience:  You.  Poor Backpacker or Wealthy Jet-Setter.  This site isn't geared to any one traveler's budget.  Some stay in hostels, some stay in resorts, whatever your speed this site is geared to teach you to go further, see more, and get more VALUE for your money.
Why?  Nobody likes feeling like they were ripped off, ESPECIALLY on vacation.  Empower yourself with knowledge to get more value.

The point of this site is not to teach you that you can afford those dream trips you're saving until you retire.  Don't wait, do them now!  Travel does not have to be an expensive ordeal.  More often than not, I have less expenses when I'm traveling than I do when I'm at home.
