Aside from TWiBT, one of my favorite sites to play around on is Wanderfly. The site provides a new approach to your generic travel search engine. It helps you figure out two things that many travelers have issues with:
1.) Where can I afford to go?
2.) What do I want to do?
For those of us like myself who suffer from severe wanderlust, you always want to go everywhere. Wanderfly helps me channel a lot of that energy. You can search for ideas within a city, country, or region that you may be interested, but if you are really open to ideas you can just search "The World." You also tell Wanderfly what your budget is and what sort of activities/styles of travel you're interested in. It then matches you with some possible destinations that meet your search criteria and methods to book them right then and there!
Although Wanderfly is simply sourcing prices from sites like Orbitz or Expedia, you won't get a deal to die for, but you will get some great ideas. Use these ideas when you're mulling over all the frequent flyer miles in your Award Wallet.
